Program Details

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SA CAA) recognizes the qualification and provides valuable experience and professional pre-employment skills for RMC Aviation Academy students to begin their aviation journey with a paid internship. RMC Aviation offers you a 2-year training program followed by a 2-year internship with a stipend of 1.5-2 lakhs per month. After completing the internship, RMC Aviation Academy will offer you a 5-year placement in Canada or Africa/Europe depending on your program. You can earn a minimum, 7-13 lakhs/month in CCP (Commercial Cockpit Pilot) program of Canada. We will offer you a minimum of 3-4 lakhs/month for 5 years of work in Africa/Europe in the SADC-RISE fellowship program. The low cost of pilot training in South Africa, combined with the endless summer weather, makes it an ideal learning ground to fly. Prices of most goods and services are very low compared to UK, Europe, North America, and many other countries.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Age criteria

Minimum age of cadet pilot seeking admission is 18 years and the maximum age is 32 years.

Educational Qualification

Must have 51% marks in Physics, Mathematics and English in 10+2.

Screening of candidate
  • After application, a specific screening authority named Flight Training Organization screens the application based on education, personality, and medical condition.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Numerical ability, hand-eye coordination, multitasking ability, special orientation, and complex task-solving ability are tested.
  • Language and verbal comprehension.
Indigo Group Interview
and Group Discussion

Panel discussions on a specific topic with a panel of other shortlisted candidates while being judged by Indigo panel members. Group/Individual Interview with Indigo employees.

Medical fitness certificate

This Indigo pilot program requires 100% assurance that you are medically fit to fly before investing your money in pilot training.

Vision 

Candidate's vision must follow standards, with or without lenses:

  • Have a Distant visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye separately, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Have a Near vision of 20/40 or better, corrected or uncorrected.
  • Ability to perceive those colors necessary for the safe performance of airman duties.
  • Have Normal field of vision.
  • Have No acute or chronic pathological condition of either eye or adnexa.
  • Heterophoria must not exceed 1 prism diopter of hyperphoria, 6 prism diopters of esophoria, or 6 prism diopters of exophoria and show no evidence of diplopia or serious eye pathology
Hearing

The candidate's hearing must correspond to the following standards:

  • Be able to hear the medical examiner conversing with him/her in a calm and slightly muted voice.
Blood

The candidate's blood pressure and Cholesterol must not exceed the following measurements (unmedicated or medicated):

  • 155 Systolic
  • 95 Diastolic
  • 240 Cholesterol units
Urine

The candidate's content of glucose (sugar) in urine must not exceed (unmedicated or medicated)

  • 0.8 mmol/l (15 mg/dl)
Medical certification is a
2 step process
  • Class 2 Medical: This can be done all over India with doctors appointed by DGCA. After completion, you will be issued CA - 35 Assessment Form as fitness certificate and after getting final medical assessment from DGCA, your reports for medical assessment will be sent to DGCA office.
  • Class 1 Medical: Class 1 initial medical assessment can be done only in 5 cities (Assam, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai).
  • Class 1 medical assessment date can be claimed only after receiving Class 2 assessment from DGCA.

File Number: will be provided with your Class 2 assessment and will be noted on the Class 2 assessment for your reference. This is a permanent and unique file number given to each individual and all documents sent to DGCA will be associated with this file number.

The main criteria are to have a class ii medical certificate and your educational qualification must be 12th or 10+2.

The complete training program includes ground classes, PPL (private pilot license), CPL (commercial pilot licenses), ATPL (Airline transport pilot Licence)

RMC Aviation Academy will take care of your Hostel, Food as well as transport from flying school to the hostel Vice-Versa. The Hostel will be well maintained with amenities like Gym, playing area, etc.

The Complete package of the Cadet program is 65 lakhs

Program: CCP Commercial Cockpit Pilot 

Step 1: Enrolment, Medical Check-up 3 Lakhs +GST 

Step 2: At the time of VISA application/Before Departure for ground classes in South Africa 17 Lakhs 

Step 3: Start of PPL training (Private Pilot Licensing)

Step 4:  Start of CPL training (Commercial Private Licensing) 25 Lakhs 

 

3 Lakhs + GST+ 17 Lakhs +20 Lakhs +25 Lakhs Total= 65 Lakhs 

You will get ATPL frozen (Airline transport passport license) and type rating on one big Aircraft. During Internship Pilot will get a Minimum INR 1.5 Lakhs/month as Stipend After the Internship, we will offer 5-year job of INR 7-13 Lakhs per Month Jobs in CANADA ATPL with 2000 HRS (Complete)
